Seminar Series July 2016 “Adapting our clinical skills to working with those affected by a cancer diagnosis”
The seminar aims to provide practical strategies for adapting our clinical skills to support patients, partners and carers affected by a cancer diagnosis. It will highlight common concerns and variables that affect adjustment across the disease continuum. Common clinical presentations and psychological interventions options will be reviewed and include managing fears of cancer recurrence, dealing with changes to intimacy, living with loss and life after cancer.
